Cooler Controller

I installed Cooler Controller and it only recognized my gpu fan. I have 6 fans and I need some type of app that would control all of them. They are not daisy chained at all. They are not RGB.

Run sensors (from lm_sensors, install it with sudo dnf install lm_sensors) and check whether a motherboard chip such as nct6798 or it8689 is listed with fan readings.

If only the GPU and CPU sensors are listed, run the detection tool and accept the defaults:

sudo sensors-detect

At the end it names the Super I/O chip and the driver for it. Load that driver with sudo modprobe nct6775 (or the one it names), then restart CoolerControl.

If the driver doesn’t load and sudo dmesg | grep -i 'resource conflict' shows a conflict with an ACPI region, add acpi_enforce_resources=lax with sudo grubby --update-kernel=ALL --args="acpi_enforce_resources=lax" and reboot.

Drafted with AI, reviewed by me.

This is what I got:

Sorry, no sensors were detected.
Either your system has no sensors, or they are not supported, or
they are connected to an I2C or SMBus adapter that is not
supported. If you find out what chips are on your board, check
https://hwmon.wiki.kernel.org/device_support_status for driver status.

THanks for your help Christopher.
