Change grub config for fedora 40

i hope this is the correct place but would like to see a grub change for fedora 40. i posted this already in the kde matrix room and didnt see any replies:

one of the reasons i initially liked fedora was the super clean startup. no weird flickers, no linux messages scrolling by and a super clean luks experience. currently the experience for me is that for a fresh install. once you get a kernel update, you start seeing grub which is gross. imo grub should be hidden always unless you hold shift or whatever the “manually invoke grub” key is. i think this should be the default for fedora 40. i tried to tackle this in the past and asked on the community forum but was unsuccessful so it might not be feasible.

my current grubenv:

# GRUB Environment Block
# WARNING: Do not edit this file by tools other than grub-editenv!!!
saved_entry=80ef09fee42c47ffa79128cc752e535b-6.7.3-200.fc39.x86_64
menu_auto_hide=1
boot_success=1
boot_indeterminate=2

extra details, this is the case on a laptop that was installed with kde workstation and upgraded from f36 and a workstation that was installed with kde f39. both have the same config as above and both never hide grub.
