Cannot Log In

I’ve been using Fedora 41 for a few weeks now with no problem, but all of the sudden today I can’t log in to Gnome on Xorg. When I do, it looks like it’s succeeded, but then it just bounces me right back to the login screen.

It does let me log into Gnome on Wayland, but that’s no good because, for whatever reason, on this hardware it always freezes every ten seconds or so and resets the display adapters and closes any context menus that are open.

Would like to just be able to log in to Gnome on Xorg again, but not sure where to start without any error messages. I pulled this from the “important” section of the log, but I don’t have enough context to know which (if any) are relevant.

Update: I’ve discovered that it seems to be caused by the de-installation of a program that had integration with Nautilus. The program is called RabbitVCS, a source control client.

I’m going to post on that program’s support forum too, but if anyone has any idea where to look in the OS for what the package installer is failing to remove, I’d very much appreciate it.
