BOXES: Low disk space even though I allocated 100GB

I want to use fedora in gnome boxes. In preferences, I set the storage limit to 100GB. But when I launch the vm, I only have 8.4 GB disk called “Fedora Linux”. When I do sudo dnf update, it tells me it needs more space.

I found the 100GB in disks and there was no partition on it. But even when I created the partition, I still can’t even update the machine because for some reason the updates save on the disk the os is installed on.

How to fix this? I just want to update the fedora linux and install some apps.

Hello @troubles and welcome to the community.
Please, could you send a screenshot of what you see in Disks (you mean the GNOME application, correct?).
Or also the output of the lsblk command from the terminal.

Did you install Fedora or is 8GB the ram disk the live system is running in?
