This is a companion discussion topic for the original entry at https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/avimehenwal/git-insight/

Hello @avimehenwal,
I like your package, it prints very nice stats.

I wanted to feature it in the COPR Archives - Fedora Magazine series but there is an issue that the package requires termgraph which needs to be installed via pip. Would you consider packaging it into RPM? I just tested building it in Copr via Builds > New Build > PyPI and it works perfectly. The only thing is that git-insight executes ~/.local/bin/termgraph instead of simply the command. That needs to be fixed.

Hello, thankyou for contacting me.
Its to great to hear from you that you are enjoying the colorful git reports

I am a hobbyist dev and would need some assistance/help around how to package pip package into a RPM properly. If you can guide me to right links I can fix the problem.
And thank-you for considering it for Fedora Magazine

Any other suggestions on packaging, dependency management are most welcome
