i’m facing another problem with the new release. The Color generation on new installation is different. Previous versions from Fedora / Gnome (beginning with gnome 3.20, iirc) creates the same colors for the Avatar as other (online) Services, for example Microsoft 365 or Atlassian Software.
Fedora 41/Gnome 47 creates them with different colors.
Why does this happen? Is this intentional?

I’ve checked an F40 and an F41 (both Workstation) installation, and the avatar colors match.
Is your F41 up to date? I remember seeing something similar to what you’re experiencing with an earlier version of GNOME 47, but since I can’t reproduce it anymore, it might have gotten fixed.
EDIT: actually, the user demo is assigned a blue colored avatar on both F40 and F41. So in the examples above the older version proposes different color.
