Hello, I keep having audio problems where the audio is just horrible and packed with stutters, I believe it has something to do with my audio drivers because when using my bluetooth headset or the in built speakers it has the same problem. But when I plug in earphones, I have a constant background white hush like a static radio. How can I find what is the problem?
Iam not sure why the stuttering is happening, but when you earphones are connected—producing a radio like sound—it might be that you are connected to HSP/HFP rather than A2DP(High quality). You should switch to A2DP playback.
But honsetly i dont think changing this might fix this issue atleast with your earphones as there is issue with the whole sound system, but why not give it a try.

Do you mean with earphones a headset from a smartphone plugged into the 3.5mm audio jack?
Those usually also have a mike and there are different layouts of the plug.

And could you please define “real headphones”? I am using Arctis nova 5x from steelseries.

So… I can’t install that bios, in the instructions, it wants me to download it only on a windows laptop THEN it will update the bios… Is there a way around? Or otherwise how do I install new audio drivers?

You can use a WinPE like Hiren’s Boot CD environment and run the update. Do some websearch how to update HP systems w/o windows.
Some business models can update BIOS in the BIOS settings. Not sure your system has this option.
You can also try whether fwupdmgr supports your system.
