I have been a dedicated Fedora user since version 36 which I installed on my new Framework Computer in 2022. I have visited the Discussion periodically when I have questions that are not clearly answered in the Docs, but usually find a topic that helps me to get the answers I need.
I have also used some of the various Red Hat releases in the past as early as 1996, but have also tried releases from Debian and Ubuntu. When I received my Framework Computer in 2022, I had become disappointed with various things that were happening with Ubuntu, and decided to give Red Hat (Fedora) another try. Since then, I have been impressed with the stability that Fedora has shown.
Historically, I have spent over 35 years as an electrical engineer specializing in the development of embedded computer systems, but have been retired since 2015, and now am focused on developing microcontroller projects to provide automation capabilities in my home as well as working on a file archive application that I can use to integrate over 40 years of files from various storage media into a cohesive collection of unique files on a single drive.
