I am currently retired. For the past twenty years, I’ve repaired lab instruments in pathology labs – basically, instruments that are used to prepare microscope slides. In this job, and my three previous jobs, I have used computers, almost always based on Microsoft products. I discovered Linux in 2013, using Ubuntu and then Linux Mint mostly. However, I tried Fedora in 2016 (I think). It’s awesomely capable, and yet it’s wonderful that I get to help build Linux by participating. Even when it’s buggy (which happened only one time I can think of), it’s awesome because it’s an honor to help fix these things. I just tested kernel 5.11.3 also. I just love it, and may it ever continue!
