Xbox Bluetooth controller being detected but not working in-game

Greetings, all.

I am on Fedora 42 KDE plasma. My Xbox One controller can be successfully connected to Fedora with Bluetooth, but inside the games I play the controller itself does not work at all unless I connect it with a USB cable.

Strange thing is, the controller was working fine yesterday via Bluetooth; this issue just began appearing today. Any potential solutions?

If you did an upgrade, you could try to downgrade the relevant packages.

I have the same issue and have never gotten it working. I have tried gnome (wayland) and Xmonad.

same thing Fedora 43 kde the xbox joypad (perfectly working on Steamdeck) does not work (I can pair it but kde does not see it and steam client no work)
