I’m on F40, but I think it’ll be the same on later Fedoras too.

By default, /etc/thermald/ has some weird configuration file name that does not get picked up by thermald.service. So I don’t even know what default thermald confirugation is used by default by thermald in newly installed Fedora.

If this /etc/thermald/ configuration file that’s there by default is like a template file that we need to use, it’s also misconfigured. It prioritizes powerclamp over cpufreq, whereas cpufreq should be above powerclamp.
Also, does anyone NOT use intel powerclamp? It seems so aggressive.
