[Won't do] Normalize referring to Fedora Discourse as Fedora Forum

Not sure I understand your question as I’m just agreeing with the original poster.

That fixes it for one person. But OP want to change how we tell other people where this sote is.

Right.

It’s worth noting that fedoraforum has been around since the core/extras
days. I have no idea how popular it is these days, but it was at one
point.

I personally would find it confusing to call this site fedora forum…

Thanks folks for the replies and feedback.

In the end you have convinced me to not give up on the “Fedora Discussion” name just yet.

I still think that for newcomers I need to use “Fedora Discussion forum” to make it more clear what kind of platform it is (not chat, not bugtracker..). But I will try not to use the capitalized or singular “Forum” in writing.

And I will try to train my muscles to spell “discussion” properly

I still think that some kind of shorthand would be good, but I feel like both “Forum” and Discuss" are not really good for that.

We need some more brainstorming I think. Fedora Space? Fedoraverse? Fedora Depths?.. Don’t know. Something to think about.

Fun to say and type:

Fedora Agora

( Agora - Wikipedia )

Good enough for Socrates!
