i am using kernel 7.0.6 fc43 and wifi is still not working. so I used a third party driver.
Please don’t post offtopic but open new topics for new cases
This time I did it for you ![]()
Concerning your issue, 7.0.6 is obsoleted for quite a while. Please update to the most recent kernel and the current state of Fedora in general with sudo dnf update , reboot, check uname -r to see if you are on the most current kernel (should contain 7.0.10-101.fc43), and then test wifi again.
Let us know if the problem persists on 7.0.10 → 7.0.10 contains many changes and fixes. You have good chances this solves your issue.
If you need further help, I suggest to provide a boot log and a deeper elaboration of the problem and how it manifests. You can get a boot log on an affected boot with 7.0.10, after you have provoked the problem during the boot, with journalctl --no-hostname --boot=0 → don’t forget to also mention to us which is the last kernel that worked out fine, and with the current update state of the system, test this old kernel again, and verify that it still works with wifi while the current one does not (in short, can you enable and disable the problem just by choosing different kernels at boot?).
Of course, if 7.0.10 solves the issue, nothing of that is necessary, just a feedback would be nice ![]()
In addition to what Chris said above: if you still have problems with 7.0.10, then those are most likely in the upstream kernel as well. And in that case it should not be fixed downstream in Fedora – it’s way better to fix this upstream in the kernel itself, as then the problems will be fixed for Arch Linux, openSUSE Tumbleweed, and overtime everybody else as well.
It’s just that somebody has to do the work – ideally MediaTek would do it.

It never worked before, I always use a wifi adapter. and I’ve been using a third party driver recently.
Your journal has:
Jun 01 06:21:23 mt7902-setup.sh[1051]: insmod: ERROR: could not insert module /lib/modules/mt7902_custom/mt76-connac-lib.ko: Invalid module format
Are you using https://github.com/robdex/mt7902_custom? It appears to be for 6.1x kernels.
Indeed, we cannot do much support for third party stuff. You have to clarify that with the maintainers of the third party module.
Please test the 7.0.10 kernel without third party modules. Then we can see if we can find out the issue and if/how to solve it, may it be a Fedora-specific issue we can tackle within the community or a bug that we can forward upstream.
Please provoke again the issue on a 7.0.10 boot without third party stuff, after that create a new journal of the boot, and after that please also provide the output cat /proc/sys/kernel/tainted to have some valuable information at first glance that helps to interpret.
There are several things in your journal that might confuse without further context: what Fedora variant do you use? And what further changes have you done to it?
I see a few things that make me wonder what the output of the following is, additionally to you describing your context with modifications/installations/customizations of your Fedora variant: sudo dnf repolist

As suggested in MediaTek MT7902 Wi-Fi Not Detected in Fedora 42 (Kernel 6.14.5) - #3 by perockwell, support for MT7902 is landing in kernel 7.1.
grep 7902 linux-7.1-rc6/drivers/net/wireless/mediatek/mt76/mt7921/pci.c
{ PCI_DEVICE(PCI_VENDOR_ID_MEDIATEK, 0x7902),
Either wait for kernel 7.1 or get a wifi stick.
