Wifi Issue after the last update

I have a broadcom BCM43228 card. To support it I had installed the package broadcom-wl and got wifi working then. But after the last update (It was done from the discover software of KDE) The wifi stopped working. Even if wifi is on from the system it’s not detecting my router, I also tried to connect to my phone hotspot with no success.
PS: I have an HP Probook 6470b laptop

I did these but they don’t seem to fix the problem:

  • Reinstalled the broadcom-wl driver
  • by following a guide and installing kmod-wl
  • Switching to an older kernal (kernel-6.9.11-200.fc40.x86_64) with grub2-set-default 1

Removed kde

Added broadcom, f40, laptop, wifi, workstation

Try downgrading wpa_supplicant.
