Wi-Fi Shows 'Question Mark' in Fedora – No Internet Despite Connection

Hello. I have got a problem, Wi-Fi connects but shows a “?” icon and I have no internet access despite being connected to the network. When I’m trying ‚ping 8.8.8.8` it returns "Destination Port Unreachable”.

I have already tried:
Restarted NetworkManager (sudo systemctl restart NetworkManager).

  • Manually set DNS to 8.8.8.8
  • Checked firewall
  • Tried different networks (my phone hotspot and other Wi-Fi).

My system is Fedora 41 on my laptop, my network controller is Mediatek MT7921.

Are other systems on your network able to connect to external sites?

Please follow firewalld quick doc to check and possibly update your firewall configuration. If that doesn’t lead to a solution, please post the output from running systemctl status firewalld, firewall-cmd --list-all, and journalctl --no-hostname -b -g wifi in a terminal (as pre-formatted text),

It helped, thank you very much
