it used to follow system but now i find it does not follow anymore it is a freshinstall of workstation 37 with all patchs patched and updated.
This is the new 5.0 redesign.

I can’t remember where I read it, but they wrote it in Qt, not GTK, hence why it looks different. I think it might have had something to do with Qt being more ideal to run on various systems (e.g. Windows systems) to reach the broadest audience.
It did change appearance but I don’t see a problem with the changes.
i have qt apps but those does not look alien in my gtk desktop new qt6 apps actually blendin well i dont know what happened
Are you using a dark theme? If yes you can try to change it with the gnome-tweaks to legacy applications to the dark theme you like to use.
This would add you something like below to your .bashrc :
export QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME='gnome'
