Fedora 30 have cherrytree
What’s going on?
It started to fail to install, and the maintainer seemingly disappeared (I don’t see any updates in over a year) without fixing it, so it was retired: 1737224 – cherrytree requires python-appindicator instead of python2-appindicator
If you are really interested in it, then perhaps you could have a go at unretiring and maintaining it. Orphaned package that need new maintainers - Fedora Project Wiki
To install, enable this COPR repo:
sudo dnf copr enable bcotton/cherrytree
Then install cherrytree:
sudo dnf install cherrytree
do you know if there are going to release a new official version for cherrytree?
And then place it to the fedora repository?
Thanks for your support.
