When I hit Meta and the App launcher menu pops, I can type “steam” and I get this “text document” popping up. My usual modusoperandi is to type the thing I’m running and hit enter but because this “text file” entry usually appears at the top of the list, more often than not, Steam does not start and I have to do it all again and manually select the second entry.
I’ve turned off Recent Docs, File Search, Kate sessions and anything else I can configure which might well index and include a text file… or something which appears to be a text as if I edit the entry, the edit pane comes up with nothing, and searching for “steam” as an application only finds the actual real entry for Steam.
I can only assume that this is a cached entry in the app laucher, but I can’t find anything obviously named in ~/.cache to remove and rebuild.
Anyone have any idea where the KDE App launcher stores its entries on disk so I can manually remove the thing?
