I just visited this board and notice at the right end of the URL bar in Brave Browser it grabbed my attention, I clicked to see what the icon means and saw the installation option below. What is this app, can’t see it in Software or even with a web search?!
It tells you that fedora discussions can be installed as a progressive web app.
Without going into too much detail: a progressive web app is basically the website pretending to be an app, but it still runs using the browser. It will create a launch shortcut, open without the browser interface and have some extra privileges (it can do offline mode and notifications if the website supports it).

Thanks. Never heard of a progressive web app! Not sure it’s of any use since my browser is open all day, thanks for explaining
