GNOME 50
Fedora Linux 44 Workstation also ships with the latest GNOME release, GNOME 50. This comes with a long list of refinements to your desktop. This includes everything from accessibility, to color management and remote desktop.
Many of the applications that are installed by default on the Fedora workstation have also seen improvements, from the Document Viewer to the File Manager and the Calendar.

@mclasen This article outline sounds good. The next step is to enter it in the WordPress site for the Fedora Magazine. Select “New” in the top menu to get started.

As an aside, I see GNOME Papers is still stuck at version 49 in Fedora 44. Will this be updated to version 50, or is the correct answer to install Evince on Fedora 44 if one needs highlighting and/or text annotations?
I’ve gone ahead an scheduled this for 14:00 UTC tomorrow. The link is (will be) What's New in Fedora Workstation 44 - Fedora Magazine. That link should work even now if you are signed in on the WP Engine site. You should still be able to make edits, but after it goes live, you will need to ask an editor if you want changes made.
I’d like to know about this too. Annotations was probably the biggest thing I was looking forward to in this upgrade cuz Papers is just a lot cleaner than Okular.
