See: https://github.com/rpm-software-management/dnf5/issues/2416. Workaround is to run dnf5 in a terminal so errors aren’t hidden. The current pressure to deal with the mass of bugs being reported by AI’s creates more issues where multiple packages are affected so updates may not all be available at the same time.
And yet the transaction seemed to complete successfully and that error is only popping up after the fact. When I just went to the command line and did a sudo dnf update --refresh, it just says “Nothing to do”…
Whatever caused the error probably changed. Use dnf history last-1 to look for the error.
I think you might mean dnf history list but when I did that command nothing came up. And that is the odd thing. The error is only showing up after the updates go through successfully. Everything gets updated and then the error shows up at the end. So I have been ignoring it.
In current Fedora (using dnf5) it should be:
dnf history info last-1
