What is the lifecycle of Fedora CoreOS?
Specifically, have the following OS already reached End-of-Life (EOL)?
- Fedora CoreOS 31.20200517.3.0
- Fedora CoreOS 32.20200726.3.1
- Fedora CoreOS 33.20210217.3.0_3

See below.
Hello @challvy and welcome to
!
The information in the above post is not entirely correct.
Fedora CoreOS is basically a rolling release and provides atomic updates approximately every two weeks. The versions you mentioned are no longer supported. You can find the currently supported releases on the following page:
“Support” is a strong word, but really it boils down to if an issue can’t be reproduced with the latest released versions (released every two weeks) then time probably won’t be spent on it.
Thank you!
So what’s the EOL information(which date) of all Fedora CoreOS versions?
The only maintained releases are those you can find on the page referred in the post above. Looking at this page, the currently maintained “stable” stream version is 43.20260105.3.0, which was released 4 days ago. In approximately a week and a half, new builds will be released and the page will be updated. So the expected end of life of the current release version 43.20260105.3.0 will be in approximately a week and a half.
By default, the operating system performs continuous automatic updates, so the system should always be on the currently maintained release version unless you explicitly disable this feature, which is not recommended.
Got it. Thank you very much!
