What is the best vulnerability scanner and patch tool for Fedora linux?

I’m working with Fedora 34 at home and was wondering what a good program to get that could scan and help patch vulnerabilities as well as programs to scan for and patch malware, adware, viruses, and so on. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Hi,

Try OpenSCAP and SCAP-Workbench. With those tools you can scan different profiles like Baseline, Payment Card Industry etc.

Don’t know if Fedora 34 is covered yet. I’ve seen Fedora 31 and 32 but you could scan Fedora 34 with those as well. Most tests will be the same.

Very good question Aaron and happy welcome!
EDIT: What I actually wanted to do here is answering to Aaron’s topic without my short sentence being displayed at the button, rather directly under the original post - a bit more modest so to say.
I do not know how to do it.
