as title says just wondering since it is not enabled by default yet and i am using 4K resolution laptop where 100% is too small and 200% is way too much so is fractional scale usable and is it ready for gnome experimental features?

thanks enabled it and had to only pump it to 125% to get best results for my screen sometimes i used 100% and larger text, but that get annoying when connecting to secondary screen and need to enable that each time so i think this is the good way to go for now

Have you tried the VRR settings yet?
Performance Improvements
- Experimental support for Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) for smoother video performance. You can enable this feature with the command:
gsettings set org.gnome.mutter experimental-features “[‘variable-refresh-rate’]”
Once enabled, the refresh rate can be set in the display settings.
