Is that the wall behind your monitor?
As it happens, the wall behind my screen is indeed grey - but it’s a much lighter shade of grey.
Ohhhhhhhhh Audi Quattro !!!
Happy Out of Touch Thursday!!
I’m slowly falling down a rabbit hole but I’m enjoying every second of it. Switched to Sway Atomic spin a couple days ago and one thing followed another and here we are. Realized I was navigating using keyboard mostly, so KDE Plasma was a bit of an overkill anyway. I was already curious about tiling WMs and upon seeing Fedora’s atomic sway offering, took a deep breath and took the plunge.
Honestly, feels like I’ll turn into the male version of “Bread on Penguins” (check her out on YouTube) by the looks of it. So yeah, see you in a couple more months. I’ll probably have riced my system more by then ![]()
hex color codes…
doesn’t get any better than #000000
nothin’ beats it (although if u want to know a neat trick, you can try slightly lighter black with #010101)
I jumped headfirst into css styling and I do not know anything about color codes hehe, all I know is I like simple, easy on the eyes type of look so I went with no effects, light colors and no background whatsoever.
I definitely want to learn and keep experimenting though because this is a lot of fun to tinker with ![]()
hex color codes are a lot of fun to play with, it’s the most basic aspect of the graphical environment, like the canvass that gives way to the rest of the scenery (the UI) so I’ve got like a wide variety of different hex color codes/combo’s that I enjoy. I also spend a lot of time using the computer, so I have developed my own theories about how the codes/combo’s actually benefit general computer usage. An important consideration, people aren’t aware of is the fact that color, isn’t actually independent to brightness, as well as other graphical effects supported via hardware(the monitor) So it’s actually the combination of brightness/color in the simplest terms that determine whether or not lighter or darker colors are comfortable to use for extended periods of time.
This is a cool combo for terminals, which I used to swear was the most comfortable
#007adf
