mine is fairly minimal
Musical spirit instilled in the wallpaper that comes with Fedora Jam Lab F40.
Does it have an autohide functionality? If yes, then yes it should.
(Lets just keep this one point and the rest of the thread about backgrounds :D)
Yes it has autohide and smart hide and yes no More offtopi chat then
Still pretty vanilla, now Plasma 6!
Plasmoids used:
- Simple Application launcher (using the Kinoite icon with padding)
- Ginti / “GNOME style” workspace indicator (I tried workspaces and think I dont need them lol)
- standard notes applet
- Thermal monitor (You should only use one if you have hardware problems… and my SSD is constantly overheating )
- extra fancy Panel spacer extended with click actions I dont currently use
- normal icons-only-taskbar
- same spacer
- Compact Weather Plasmoid
- systray with: “tray color picker” (hidden)
KDE 6 with little modification is just perfection for me…and made my own wallpaper to go along with it.
Mind if you share it? It looks very sleek and minimal
Sure, I’ve uploaded the wallpaper including the SVG to:
This is a lonely tree I took while visiting Kenya back in 2010. I submitted the picture to the fedora project at one point and have been using it since.
Said picture is also available on flickr at A lonely tree at dusk in Amboseli | After visiting rwanda, w… | Flickr
I’ve tried a first dark-mode version. Take a look if you like it. Applied with Dynamic Wallpapers from flathub. There’s room for improvement.
And here’s an updated version a few months later, after trying out a bunch of other distros and coming back to Fedora - KDE, but this time with some Gnome-like design elements as well.
Flatery icons look really nice!
