Hello Everyone: I just installed F43 KDE and my webcam (again) doesn’t work. It has been fine in other distributions. I am also running Flatpak version of Vivaldi for browsing and tried to use Kamoso to see if it worked. I have added my user to the “video” group as well. IIRC, this was a problem in a previous version of Fedora and it may be the lack of a pipewire module. Lsusb does “see” the camera. I am unsure how to solve this very annoying issue. My last distro was CachyOS and the camera did work just fine out of the box. It is a Lumina webcam (Sony lens, etc) but generic.
Any help would be appreciated. It could be Flatpak permissions in the case of my browser not being able to use the camera in Jitsi for example. But Zoom is also needed on a regular basis.
Thanks again for your help.
