Want to change the boot logo and dont know where te start

Hi, i want to change the bootlogo of fedora 42, i tried to do some research but nothing pups up, if someone know how to do it pls coment. thank you

As far as I know, the graphical boot is managed by plymouth.

In the dim and distant past I created a plymouth theme to customise the boot up logo.

Research plymouth theme writing to do this for yourself.

FYI, the logo image is stored in /usr/share/plymouth/themes/spinner/watermark.png. You should just be able to replace that image (keeping a copy of the old one around just in case). At least thatโ€™s what I used to do years ago.

Beware that on an update the image may be restored to the original one.
