Version Confusion

Hi all,
A few months ago, I downloade the Fedora 41 KDE Spin ISO. I just got around to installing it yesterday (long story). When it rebooted after installation, I got a message saying it was a trial (don’t remember the exact wording) and I should upgrade to the release version of 41. Good.

Then today, I go to download the release ISO of 41 and find out there’s also a 42 and 43. Now I’m confused. Which is the current version? Or are 42 and 43 beta and alpha versions respectively?

One of the chat-bots told me v41 was only released a few days ago. I suppose I shouldn’t believe that.

43 is the latest released version. 42 was released in April 2025 and will be supported until ~May 2026. 41 will go out of support this month.
