This is a question and the answer I found by myself after not seeing any solution to this. Basically, in Fedora 38, I just installed wine. Then I installed the windows version of EasyMP. Then used manual setup to manually add the IP address of the projector, connected and it magically works. It does not work on wayland, you need to use Gnome on x.org.
