How to fix it?

Try following the instructions here for upgrading. I find that is much more reliable than using the gui software manager.

Initially, I used to be a GUI person because I just wanted to get stuff done.

But yes, I’ve come to realise that anything that you do via the CLI is always going to be more reliable (and informative!) than using the GUI.

@linkmaster You might want to wait 3-4 months before upgrading to the latest release of Fedora (just a tip)… that way you “may” get a “better” UX because by that time F43’s bugs that the brave guys (people who installed F43 early) would have already found out and they would’ve been ironed out.

It has been a month since f43 was released and I expect the majority of the new bugs have already been found and most have been fixed.

Updating anytime now should be almost error free.

One of the biggest advantages to using dnf vs the gui is the amount of detailed info received and that makes resolution of problems much easier.
