As the title suggests, I recently updated to Fedora 43. As soon as the update was done though, I ran into some major issues concerning the Andromeda Launcher. Instead of opening it gives me a long and complicated error message I can’t decifer.
Sorry! There was an error loading Andromeda Launcher:
file:///home/semmel_bun/.local/share/plasma/plasmoids/AndromedaLauncher/contents/ui/main.qml:31:1: Cannot load library /usr/lib64/qt6/qml/org/kde/plasma/private/kicker/libkickerplugin.so: /lib64/libKF6Runner.so.6: undefined symbol: _ZN14KWaylandExtras18xdgActivationTokenEP7QWindowRK7QString
I tried following the filepaths but this image is as far as i could follow the trail
This bug makes me unable to access any applications through GUI like I’m used to and I can’t use any search functions to open applications either. Luckily I had some key-bound shortcuts set up for Firefox, Dolphin file manager, Terminal and System Monitor. But other than that i keep my desktop very minimal with nothing on there.
Though, I’m new to Linux and discussion posts in general, I hope I’m able to get everything across clearly.
I would really appreciate any and all help <3
