Updated fedora; chaos ensued steam game no longer goes full screen

Hi I just updated my fedora Kde and now my game does not want to do fullscreen anymore. These are my system details.

Operating System: Fedora Linux 42
KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.20.0
Qt Version: 6.9.3
Kernel Version: 6.17.9-200.fc42.x86_64 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 32 × AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor
Memory: 64 GiB of RAM (62.7 GiB usable)
Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060

I did go to rpmfusion and I did run sudo dnf update -y and it did update.

and I ran sudo dnf install akmod-nvidia

System told me nothing to do.

And I rebooted and I still have same issues. See picture included. Any advice? I am pretty let down by linux so far.

I think the smartest thing would be to wait for steam os and just use that.

Should I just buy and AMD graphics card and not deal with this or is it just a waste of money?

I would wait and see if someone here can help. The more eyes on something the better. It could be something as simple as a setting.

Might wanna do a flatpak update as well if you have not.

NVIDIA drivers used in flatpak has to match the system driver version installed using dnf/rpm.

Tried some Google Fu but only came up with this…

That suggest that it might be a wine issue. I have no idea. Might want to ask over there as well.
