As a follow up to the GA images, we have an updated Fedora 44 RISC-V image is available for testing! The image is Fedora-Server-Host-Omni-44-20260731.0.riscv64.raw.xz.
What’s new?
-
Out-of-the-box support for SpacemiT K3 (RVA23 hardware) in the Omni kernel. The previous Fedora 44 image required some gnarly manual tweaking to get it working on K3. With this updated kernel, K3 boards should now boot out of the box.
-
Improvements to SpacemiT K1 boards, including Muse Pi Pro. With this updated Omni kernel, SpacemiT K1 SoC also gains slightly better support. If you have a Muse Pi Pro, please let us know (here in the comments or on Fedora RISC-V Matrix chat) whether this image worked for you.
-
General package updates: these are general updates as part of re-spinning an image; it’s not super exciting, but it keeps the image as up-to-date as possible.
Give the image a try and let us know how it goes!
Regards,
Fedora RISC-V community
