It looks like a new camera app is being introduced in fedora version 40 of gnome. But there seems to be a problem with this application. On my computer, it just shows a completely pink image.
The previous version of the cheese app is normal, so I can confirm that there is no problem with my hardware.
I don’t know if this is the right place to give this feedback, but I didn’t test it in other distributions, so I gave it here first.
Hi, this is 2269286 – Snapshot displays only solid pink image. You probably just need to do a system update. Make sure you have snapshot-46.1-3.fc40 because there are a lot of other bugs with any version older than that. (It’s still buggy, but that’s the best we have thus far.)
