Unable to upgrade from 42 to 43 on several platforms. Typical error message as follows:

Deleting nvautoinstall and scala (whatever that is?), plus earlier deletion of wine allowed the upgrade to proceed.
Could not see any relevant instructions by @vgaetera, but I’m back in business (at a cost of 50% of my data for the month😣️), so thanks for the advice.
Nope. Original packages were still on the system AFAIK.
I thought that, given the interlude between first attempting the upgrade and finally achieving it, many packages may have been updated. In any case, it came to just over 9GB.
