I’m currently using a Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition laptop running Fedora 43 KDE. I have a headphone jack and am able to plug in my wired headphones and hear audio from them. However, when I plug in the line in of my creative a250 speakers to my headphone jack, it doesn’t seem to detect anything. I can’t seem to find any device that I can select in the audio tray menu that gives audio from the speakers. When I boot into Windows, the speakers do correctly work and output audio. Any assistance to help figure out and solve the issue would be very appreciated.
sudo dnf install pavucontrol
and see what is there, I had a simiral problem a while ago that toggling a few times in pavucontrol ‘fixed’
Have you plugged in the power to the speakers and turned them on?
