I am using Fedora 36 GNOME with Xorg X11. The issue is also occurring with older versions of Fedora also, maybe back to F32.
Fedora is installed on a IBM ThinkPad T460s with docking and external display.
After I type in my password during initial login, Fedora goes into suspended state. I re-press power button to have it back up again. Sometimes, it shows a notification “Unable to lock lock was blocked by an application”, some other times, it does not show anything.
When running without docking and without external display, Fedora just logs in correctly. No error.
With Wayland, there is no error with or without docking and external display.
