Unable to install nordvpn on Fedora using the instructions on official page

I made a script to install nordvpn on silverblue 41. It seems to work ok. It currently has a version string set in the script to install 3.18.5 instead of the default 3.19.

You can find it here…

Got an answer from the NordVPN support

Thank you for your patience.

Unfortunately, we do not have any plans to support the rpm-ostree package manager anytime soon.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience it may be causing you.

Disappointing

Might need to cancel my subscription if I am still stuck on 3.18.5 version that just works, but not any never

I will answer the same.

What other vpn works well on fedore silverblue? Any experience with Surfshark, for example?

Hi, Practo Vpn is an open source vpn based in switzerland which I am using currently at the system level. if you do not need the threat protection feature and adblocking featuring you can try it for free. It is available as a flatpak in the software centre.
However you may not be able to access certain websites in India like practo.com, just dial and proseo tools as they detect the vpn.

tested nordVPN on other immutable systems and it works so there is bug/issue on rpm-ostree that prevents it to be used on latest versions

this is from openSUSE AEON fresh install
