Unable to disable virtual keyboard Fedora 43 KDE

Anyone else not able to disable the virtual keyboard in Fedora KDE 43? If i select “none” it just keeps switching back to Maliit. I can select ibus wayland. That spams

ibus-ui-gtk3[2217]: Create input context failed: Operation was cancelled.

in journalctl though. I think that is what is doing that anyway. I saw something similar on Reddit about not being able to disable the virtual keyboard in 43. Does anyone know a work around to disable it or when it will be fixed?

I have this same exact problem on Fedora 42 and it is SUPER annoying!
I hope someone can help

There’s a bug regarding selecting none.
