Hello Fedora community,
I’m facing an issue with connecting to the internet via Ethernet on my Fedora OS. Here’s the situation:
- When I use Ethernet on Windows, it works perfectly. The network login page (keepalive network) opens automatically in the browser, and I can log in successfully.
- On Fedora, the Ethernet connection is detected, but the network login page does not open in any browser.
- I am, however, able to connect to the institute’s WiFi on Fedora, and the network login page opens fine in a browser.
System Info:
- Fedora OS version 37
- NetworkManager version 1.40.18-1.fc37
Could this be an issue with Fedora not detecting the captive portal? Are there any specific configurations I need to adjust to make this work?
