Ukraine and cisco repo in february 2026

Hi! I’m Ukrainian and in 2025 I was supposed to be having fedora as my first Linux system, but I didn’t want to deal with Cisco repo being blocked and so, because Ubuntu isn’t relying on Cisco repo pretty much out of the box,it became my Linux system.

But in the recent days( February 2026 ) I decided to a try access repo page in my browser on windows, tried to access their repo directly from Ubuntu terminal and i got 200 ok,cmd on windows without any VPN or tor 200 ok too.But I don’t see any announcements and all the posts about that codec is from 2025. It’s too good to be true. Can someone from Ukraine/ Belarus/ Russia shine a light on situation with this repo and codec in 2026 without VPN, please?

They have over time worked on clearing IP’s which are located in Western Ukraine.
So lets hope that it keeps working for you - it is certainly some good news.

Will it work for others near you, or for Russia and Belarus? Let’s wait to here from some more users to see.
