Turning off screen doesn't work, Dell Latitude 5590

Hello!
Whenever I try to use any “Turn Off Screen” or “Sleep” feature, they never work. They will turn off the screen, but never turn it back on. Is there any way to fix this? My PC is a Dell Latitude 5590.

Hi there!

Please provide some additional information:
Fresh install of Fedora (to rule out the possibility of an application keeping the device awake)?
Does the Latitude actually go to sleep when trying to suspend or does the screen just go dark with the device staying active?

Might be power management issues.

It’s a pretty recent install, (only being installed about 3 days ago 11-27). The device tries to go to sleep, but doesn’t actually, just the screen being off, but no way to turn the screen/system back on without having to force shutdown the entire system. If it is power management issues, is there a way to fix it in fedora, or is it a BIOS problem?
