Touchpad pointer does not respond

I just setup Fedora in Dual Boot with Windows 10 on a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17".
It has Fedora BTRFS split in two drives
Root and all system files are in a 500 GB NVMe M.2 drive.
Windows system files are also on that drive.

On a 1 TB SSD are both de Windows Data partition and the /home partition.
And also the swap partition.

When booting Fedora, screen to select user shows up.
When typing Enter key after selecting user and providing pwd, touchpad stops working.

Touchpad is working OK because it normally operates on Windows.

There must have been a temporary malfunction in the Settings menu.
I found out how to call Settings and then with tab key go into Mouse and Touchpad.
Activating some touchpad buttons the pointer functionality was recovered.
