Time to rollback AMD-drivers to Linux firmware 20260622?

AV1 decoding with AMD has been horrible since linux-firmware 20260810 update. With youtube the most common use case.

Thought, yeah I can live with that, it will be fixed by next mesa update or next firmware update very soon.

But its been over a month now and it’s still the same.
Is it time considering rolling back to pre-20260622 release for AMD drivers like arch did already the fist couple of days? https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/packaging/packages/linux-firmware/-/commit/ba3cc99c82cceac8c36befbfc5269baeec2f60cd ?

I’ve updated system once a day since issue began, sometimes twice. Last time yesterday.
But today’s update I did 30 mins after this thread; FIXED it.

(Honestly 30% of the reason I created the thread, to reverse jinx it. Has worked before and worked this time.)
