CLicking on Get Jellyfin Media Player…

Is this by design?
(BTW what is Software Centre?)
Jellyfin media player does not install:

You can try to add to command line:
--skip-broken to skip uninstallable packages
Is copr not supported by Fedora 44?
I had to reboot to get the removed copr to no longer display.
It’s leftovers from the older COPR you were using.
That COPR doesn’t have a F44 build is the reason it shows up like that.
Software center is plasma-discover or gnome-software or insert software store for desktop environment here ..

FYI…Recent versions of jellyfin are included in the RPMFusion-Free Repository

That’s where I get my server and client versions at least.
I’ve been using a different Copr repository
This one is much better maintained.
So discover and gnome-software are notified when repositories are added, but not when they are disabled or removed?
On gnome systemctl --user restart gnome-software.service seems to do the job. I guess something similar might be available for KDE?
disable, enable or remove a COPR on the command line
with gnome software open
The repository doesn’t update.
Close the repository window, and select updates and then hit the refresh button on the top right.
After the refresh open the Software repositories and it will reflect the update.
On Discover it’s similar … except after refreshing updates you need to close and re-open.
It looks like this is on a 5 minute’ish timer at least for gnome-software.
