The mcelog package is missing maintainers

The last substantial update was four years ago with fedora 34.

Please let me know if this package has been deprecated or replaced by another package.

You can do this on:
mcelog - Fedora Packages

It will be updated on F43

I have been use rasdeamon as a replacement. Seems to the way forward.

How do you know?

What I would do here is to invoke Non-responsive maintainer policy :: Fedora Docs and cite 1516731 – Please update to latest upstream version. In the best case, this results in the maintainer becoming active again and updating the package. Otherwise, the package will be orphaned and you or somebody else can adopt it and update it.

You may get the answer that rasdaemon is the replacement to mcelog.
Would be good to have that stated clearly.

It seems that even this “somebody” doesn’t exist.

The other path for orphaned packages is that they are retired. It is not the best solution for you if you need that package, but at least then it is clear what is going on: There is nobody to maintain the package in Fedora, thus it is not available.

Use rasdaemin as a replacement for mcelog.
It does everything that mcelog can do and more.
