The mailman3 suite installation/configuration puzzle

I’d like to try Mailman3 on Fedora. So far, i have installed the mailman3 packages. The dilemma begins when attempting configuration by following the documentation

I see references to a mailman user but I cannot access one in Fedora. However, the user exists as per:
cat /etc/passwd | grep mailman

Yet, I cannot switch to that mailman user:
$ su mailman
This account is currently not available.

Clearly I need some tutoring. Is anyone running mailman3 on Fedora? How did you do it? How about Postorius and Hyperkitty? Are they all included in the mailman3 package?

I cannot switch to that mailman user

The login shell is disabled for security reasons.

sudo -u mailman mailman3 info
