Thanks to the devs

I’m a software engineer for over 12 years now. I’m using Fedora since ~1 year on my main development machine. Before that I used Manjaro (before that OS X and Windows). Fedora had my attention with the stable release of the Atomic spins. The atomic approach alone takes away so much headache - I still love it. I’m using the Sway version and this makes it even better. So much reasonable default values - I hardly need to adapt the system settings and can concentrate on my workflow.

I recently switch from 41 to 42 and now there is a new addition in the Waybar: you can toggle the power profile of the CPU! A very good product just got even better. It may be a minor adaption but those details in combination with the stability make Fedora Atomic Sway to my favorite Linux distribution for work.

I just want to say thank you for all the love and time you invested in this project. Thanks!

I absolutely agree! Would like to thank all the Fedora team for the efforts too.

I enjoy cutting edge technology, beta and alpha testing, and it will soon be 3 years on Rawhide (Fedora 44 now), which is supposed to be unstable perhaps but it did not give me any major issues, only some hiccups couple of times. Landed here after testing many other distributions.

There’s a solid feel of constant progress, update and improvement to the better (especially KDE version as KDE project on its on is advancing at impressive speed).

Thanks, and best wishes!
