Taskbar scrunched up on startup

Hello everyone. since i’ve upgraded to the new version of plasma I’ve been having an interesting issue.

My taskbar gets all scrunched up on startup. When i change the size in edit, to a lower value it goes back, I can set it to its regular value and it looks normal.

Is there a way I can fix this? (preferably without wiping out my taskbar in the process).

Thanks.

If you do not get a answer here try asking the kde folks over at https://discuss.kde.org/

Right-click on the Task Manager, and click “Configure Icons-Only Task Manager” from the popup menu.

Then set “Use multi-row view” to “Never”.

(My screenshot shows “multi-column view” because my panel is vertical, but it should say “multi-row view” for your horizontal panel.)

Personally I really like this feature, but it seems to work better on a vertical panel, where your apps look like square tiles. I can see how it looks a bit scrunched up on your horizontal panel.

That was it thanks.

Wasn’t sure if it was a bug or a feature.
